¡Buenos y fríos días!
En las últimas semanas el río Ebro está un poco revolucionado, se ha salido del cauce inundando zonas de bosque de ribera y también algunos campos de cultivo. Si el río tuviera conciencia en estos momentos seguro que estaría pletórico, orgulloso, incluso amenazante. Durante todo este tiempo he paseado por la margen izquierda y he hecho fotos, también he sentido unas ganas imperiosas de dibujar.

Good days!
In the last
weeks the river Ebro is a little nervous, it was
breaking out of his channel, and it was flooding places of the river forest
and some crops. I think if the river had
conscience, in this moments it´s sure the river would be
energetic, proud, even threatening.
During this time I was walking by the left bank and I took some
photos, also I felt a desire to draw compelling, and this is what I've
done.
Cuando pasa una tormenta la sensación que queda es de paz y estas fotos tienen algo de ésto. El agua estancada no es para la naturaleza ningún peligro, la vida del río se expande, se escuchan los pájaros y la situación invita a tumbarse, charlar, bañarse. Y ésto último es precisamente lo que pasa en el dibujo "Un baño en la chopera", inspirado en este paisaje invernal y con el deseo y el anhelo interior de que llegue ya la primavera.
When a storm passes,
it remains a feeling of
peace, like in these pictures. Standing
water is not a danger to
nature, river life expands, we can listen birds
and the situation invites to sit down, chat and
take a bath. And this is precisely
what happens in the
drawing "A dip in the
poplar", inspired by the wintry landscape and the desire and longing inside and spring arrives.
